Transfer money to your Australian Bank Account 

Simply complete an international funds transfer before you arrive in Australia. You will need to provide the following information to your bank to complete the transfer: 

  • Bank name: Westpac Banking Corporation.
  • Branch name: We will supply this to you once your account is opened.
  • Account Name: Your full name (as it appears on your passport).
  • Account Number: We will supply this to you once your account is opened.
  • BSB (Bank/State/Branch) code: We will supply this to you once your account is opened.
  • SWIFT code: WPACAU2S.

Notes: 

  1. Conditions, fees, charges and foreign currency exchange rates apply. You will need to check with your bank, financial institution or exchange dealer before your transfer.
  2. To withdraw funds from your Australian bank account you need to complete an identity check. You can do this before or after you move to Australia. As soon as you complete an identity check (either in the country you are moving from or in Australia) your account will be fully operational.
